Temperatures have began to soar and summer is stepping into its full swing.
While the rising temperature is deadly for many viruses and bacteria resulting in fewer illnesses, the scorching heat are often alarming for your health too if you don’t take adequate precautions.
Go for light and healthy food
Having light and little meals frequently is best for your health in summers because the body heat rises if you eat heavy food with many carbohydrates and fats. Also, incorporate fresh and watery vegetables and fruits like tomatoes, watermelon and oranges in your diet to remain hydrated during the season.
Drink many water
Make sure to drink 10 to 12 glasses of water a day during summer. Sweating and warmth during this season can dehydrate the body easily and may cause various health issues like fever and chills.
Wear loose and lightweight clothes
Wearing loose and lightweight clothes made up of cotton and linen help your body stay cool. Also, prefer to wear light colored clothes within the season. Avoid wearing unnecessary jewellery and accessories to stay yourself light.
Take care of the eyes
Sunshine are often harsh on your eyes during the summer and hot winds also can affect them. Wear sunglasses if you go outside and wash your eyes often throughout the day to safeguard them from any harm.
Look after the skin
The summer heat can make your skin oilier, and sometimes even dry. As a result, you’ll have chapped skin, acne and develop rashes. Wear sunscreen while going outside and reapply it every 3 or 4 hours to guard your skin. Moreover, wash the skin often and use burn plant gel and sandalwood powder to stay it healthy.
Avoid outside food
